Every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated – especially on their birthday. Birthday of Hope is the heart of Official Kids Celebration and the program that started it all. We create meaningful, personalized birthday celebrations for children who may otherwise go without, surrounding them with joy, dignity, and community support.
What is Birthday of Hope?
Birthday of Hope was created to ensure every child feels deeply loved and celebrated on their birthday — no matter their circumstances. This program provides fully planned, no-cost birthday celebrations for children facing financial hardship, medical challenges, housing instability, foster or kinship care placement, or other difficult life circumstances.
Each celebration is thoughtfully designed to bring joy, restore dignity, and create unforgettable memories for children and their families. From decorations and cake to gifts and community support, Birthday of Hope transforms one special day into a lasting reminder that a child matters.
After reaching out to us following bullying, we helped an 8-year-old child named Christian ask us to celebrate his birthday with a party filled with love, not fear. Community donations made his dream come true, providing a Lego rocket, custom decorations, and a rented space, alongside 15+ gifts and school supplies. Everyone came together to show him massive support, bringing immense joy to his special day… We also went live on social media platforms to allow all donors to be a part of the celebrations they make possible.
The Community Unity project celebrated Zoey’s 10th birthday by transforming a local venue into a Purple Winter Wonderland on December 12th. Althoughher mom is a single parent, the event honored Zoey as a year-long Honor Roll student and provided a free celebration for her and her family. Crown Jayed! Birthday royalty! From a 4.0 GPA to a private bash with his favorite people, this king for a day had it all. A huge thanks to our online donors for joining the celebration live! he got his wish: a private party filled with love, songs, and a global audience of donors via social media
Chance wanted one thing for his birthday: his parents together in the same room. We were honored to make that wish come true. With a dream Battle Royal theme, tons of fun and games, and his mom and dad singing Happy Birthday together, this was a celebration we will never forget.

Who We Serve
Birthday of Hope serves children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to celebrate their birthday, including:

- Children in foster, kinship, or transitional care
- Children facing medical challenges or family hardship
Children are nominated through trusted schools, nonprofits, family members, and community partners to ensure support reaches those who need it most.
